Hello dear subscribers!
This spontaneous drop into your email is an announcement that I spent today tending to the website and dropping some cups into the shop!
I wanted to try posting an update here on Substack first to see what happens. Alternatives I have used in the past have been email campaigns via Squarespace with a password to offer subscribers early access, as well as announcing on instagram right away.
If you have shared space with me here, you know that instagram is a challenging tool for me mentally and emotionally and I am very curious to see what happens if I pull away from that space a little bit. I am curious to see if it is possible for creatives to live a life unchained from the platform that elevated so many of us faster than we digested its harm to our well-being. Right now I am not so sure.
Of course tomorrow I plan to make an announcement there as well. But for the time being, please know you can head to Silsceramics.com and peruse the merchandise with lower traffic levels.
You can expect to find refreshed stock of snake mugs and tumblers, whiskey tumblers, the extra mug-club pieces I have so far, and the final batch of strata mugs. This is a very cup-heavy update. The truth is just that I ran out of time to document more work I plan to list in the next week or two. So if you are more of a vases, dream jars, and centerpieces pal, hang tight!
